We were delighted to host Univ.-Prof. Dr. Emmanuella Plakoyiannaki, Chaired Professor of International Business at the University of Vienna (Austria), as part of a series of specialized lectures by distinguished professors organized by the MSc programme in Sports, Culture, Political Marketing. In her lecture, Professor Plakoyiannaki explored a timely and thought-provoking topic: the lessons that Marketing and Business Administration can draw from the Arts. She highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary thinking and creativity in contemporary management. In particular, she drew on the Bauhaus movement to discuss design innovation and architecture, and their implications for marketing and business practice.
Our sincere thanks to Professor Plakoyiannaki for honouring us with her presence, as well as to all colleagues, students and alumni who attended the event. S
pecial thanks to Professor Adamantios Diamantopoulos (University of Vienna) and Associate Professor Paul Kalfadelis (Monash University, Australia) for joining us.
